CAR SALOON.. FFS
sedan (American EnglishCanadian Englishplay /sɨˈdæn/) or saloon car (British EnglishIrish EnglishNew Zealand English) is a passenger car in a three-box configuration with A, B & C-pillars and principal volumes articulated in separate compartments for engine, passenger and cargo.[1] The passenger compartment features two rows of seats and adequate passenger space in the rear compartment for adult passengers. The cargo compartment is typically in the rear, with the exception of some rear-engined models, such as the Renault DauphineTatra T613Volkswagen Type 3 and Chevrolet Corvair. It is one of the most common car body styles.

Saloon were an English indie musical group from Reading, who formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2004.But they sucked so bad i couldnt find any pictures of them on the internet. Looks like they anherod.

onto more random holes.

How do they saloon in the west?
Western saloon is a kind of bar particular to the American Old West. Saloons served customers such as fur trapperscowboys, soldiers, gold prospectors, miners, and gamblers. The first saloon was established at Brown’s Hole, Wyoming, in 1822, to serve fur trappers. The popularity of saloons in the nineteenth-century American West is attested to by the fact that even a town of 3,000 residents, such as 1883’s Livingston, Montana, boasted 33 saloons.[1]
Among the more familiar saloons were First Chance Saloon in Miles City, Montana; the Bull’s Head in Abilene, Kansas; the Arcade in El Dorado,Colorado; the Holy Moses in Creede, Colorado; the Long Branch in Dodge City, Kansas; the Birdcage Theater (also a saloon) in Tombstone, Arizona; the Bucket of Blood Saloon in Virginia City, Nevada; and Judge Roy Bean’s Saloon in Langtry, Texas. Many of these establishments remained open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

It was however surprisingly hard to find a good adequate GIF for that saloon picture. Actually. kinda irritating considering this is the internet and anything can usually be found. THE FFFFF IS GOING ON HERE!

Well.. That's all for today's episode of Vibrantly random.

What is random about Fish?

What are fish?

Fish are a paraphyletic group of organisms that consist of all gill-bearing aquatic vertebrate (or craniate) animals that lacks limbs with digits. Included in this definition are the living hagfishlampreys, and cartilaginous and bony fish, as well as various extinct related groups.
Most fish are "cold-blooded", or ectothermic, allowing their body temperatures to vary as ambient temperatures change, though some of the large active swimmers like white shark and tuna can hold a higher core temperature.[1][2] Fish are abundant in most bodies of water. They can be found in nearly all aquatic environments, from high mountain streams (e.g., char and gudgeon) to the abyssal and even hadal depths of the deepest oceans (e.g., gulpers andanglerfish). At 32,000 species, fish exhibit greater species diversity than any other class of vertebrates.[3]
Fish, especially as food, are an important resource worldwide. Commercial and subsistence fishers hunt fish in wild fisheries (see fishing) or farm them in ponds or in cages in the ocean (see aquaculture). They are also caught by recreational fishers, kept as pets, raised by fishkeepers, and exhibited in publicaquaria. Fish have had a role in culture through the ages, serving as deities, religious symbols, and as the subjects of art, books and movies.
Because the term "fish" is defined negatively, and excludes the tetrapods (i.e., the amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals) which descend from within the same ancestry, it is paraphyletic, and is not considered a proper grouping in systematic biology. The traditional term pisces (also ichthyes) is considered a typological, but not a phylogenetic classification.

Whats random about love?

What is love really?

To poets, love might be a many-splendored thing. But in neuroscientist Larry Young's lab, love is biochemistry.

Young, a researcher at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center at Emory University in Atlanta, studies the neurobiology that underlies pair bonds -- what nonscientists might call love.
In an essay in the journal Nature last month, he laid out evidence that scientists may soon be able to tie the emotion "love" to a biochemical chain of events, and might someday even be able to develop drugs that enhance social bonding -- in much the same way that pharmaceuticals today can help regulate emotions like anxiety and depression.
But, Young says, it's not a love potion. "The holy grail is a drug that might be able to enhance the social abilities of people with social disorders like autism."
In his lab at Yerkes, Young studies rodents called prairie voles. Unlike 95 percent of mammals, prairie voles mate for life.
"They form a lifelong bond," Young said. "They nest together, they raise a family together, they have another litter. So they have this really intense bond between them."
In a series of studies, Young found that the hormones that produce that bond are the same ones that promote parent-child bonding in many other species.
For females, that hormone is oxytocin.

Some Love Poetry provided by Poetry of the Day

Nothing Left To Say
by Johnny Ray Ryder Jr.
In the beginning it sounded so perfect,
The first night we were together
It seemed so worth it.

Each day, the harder I tried,
Each day, it seemed you had more to hide.
There is nothing more I can offer you,
It seems you can't be satisfied.

I only asked for your truth
Yet, each day I was only denied.
The smallest of happiness I needed to get by,
Just to survive...

"Why," must you take for granted all of my emotions?
"Why," didn't I leave you, on the smallest of a notion?
Now I must realize, it's time to walk away,
I'm sorry... there's nothing left to say.
What about Jennifer LOVE Hewitt...

What is random about coal?

Coal the energy

Coal is a combustible black or brownish-black sedimentary rock normally occurring in rock strata in layers or veins called coal beds or coal seams. The harder forms, such as anthracite coal, can be regarded as metamorphic rock because of later exposure to elevated temperature and pressure. Coal is composed primarily of carbon along with variable quantities of other elements, chiefly hydrogen, with smaller quantities of sulfur, oxygen and nitrogen.

Coal the singer

Often it is said that the only constant in life is change. Four-time Grammy nominated, multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter KEYSHIA COLE knows well about enduring the seasons of change, particularly matters of the heart. With the release of her fourth album CALLING ALL HEARTS (Geffen Records), in the true spirit of full disclosure, Keyshia pours her heart and soul on all 14 tracks of her latest masterpiece. Enlisting powerful collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Faith Evans, Tank and her mother Dr. Yvonne Cole, and partnering with production giants Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and Timbaland, Keyshia made this project a labor of love and an true expression of life…Keyshia’s life.

According to KEYSHIA, “I wasn’t that optimistic about finding true love.” In the early stages of developing CALLING ALL HEARTS, Keyshia had all but given up on the prospect. “I decided when I did get back into the swing of things I’m not dealing with anyone who’s not on my level.” Enter Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The undeniable connection between the two not only transformed Keyshia’s heart, but also soon after the birth of their son, Daniel Jr., she was able to pour out her heart in signature fashion to complete this, her 4th album.

History

In 2002 Coal started as a labor of love in an apartment in Portland, Oregon. In our first year, we launched with a vision for a quality headwear line inspired by friends and family—one that would be an outlet for our whole new take on the woolen, knit beanie. Drawing from deep roots in art, skate and snowboard culture, Coal delivered great fit and forward thinking design. Although we now call Seattle, Washington home we've stayed true to our original inspiration and today, offer a wide range of distinctive pieces from caps and hats to gloves and knits that match your unique life and style. Chuck the sitcom:

Our favorite secret agent is back in the one-hour action-comedy series. Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel") returns as a regular guy who also happens to be the government's most vital secret agent.

Now that those closest to Chuck know his secret, he must try harder than ever to keep his spy life from interfering with his personal life. But this has never been more difficult - his relationship with superspy Sarah Walker is getting serious, and he's about to take on his most personal mission yet: finding his mother.

This season, Chuck's assignments take him far from Burbank, with each mission bringing him closer to uncovering what happened to his mom, Mary Elizabeth Bartowski (guest star Linda Hamilton, "The Terminator," "Terminator 2: Judgment Day").

The ever stoic Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin, "My Bodyguard," "Serenity") returns with partner Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski, the upcoming "The Killer Elite"), one of the CIA's top agents and Chuck's new girlfriend.

Also starring are Joshua Gomez ("Without a Trace") as Morgan Grimes, Chuck's best buddy; Sarah Lancaster ("What About Brian?") as Chuck's ever-supportive sister Ellie; Ryan McPartlin ("Living with Fran") as Devon Woodcomb (also known as Captain Awesome), Ellie's husband. Chuck's Buy More team consists of Big Mike (Mark Christopher Lawrence, "The Pursuit of Happyness") and the Nerd Herd, which includes Lester (Vik Sahay, "Time Bomb") and Jeff (Scott Krinsky, "The O.C.").

"Chuck" is co-created by Josh Schwartz ("The O.C.," "Gossip Girl") and Chris Fedak, and is executive produced by Schwartz, McG ("Charlie's Angels," "Terminator Salvation"), Fedak, Robert Duncan McNeill, and Nicholas Wootton. "Chuck" is produced by Fake Empire, and Wonderland Sound and Vision, in association with Warner Bros. Television.

What is ground CHUCK:
First, you have regular ground which commonly comes from the plate (underbelly) and breast of the cow. This is not the choicest of meats and tends to be very fatty, grisly and, in lesser grades, can contain some bone chips. Regular ground beef is the least purchased ground simply because Americans are becoming more health conscience and don't mind paying an extra 50 cents per pound for better quality. This area on the cow is also where corned beef and brisket come from. Usually, when your butcher or their packager is processing regular ground beef, they will add in fat found from other parts of the cow. This gives the percentage of fat figure that is seen on your ground beef packaging (e.g. 75-80% lean means that 20-25% of the package is really fat, also known as suet).

Secondly, you can purchase ground chuck. This is the most popular ground on the market. Ground chuck comes from the shoulder and neck area of the cow and is usually very fatty but also has an immense amount of flavoring. This is why such cuts of meat as a chuck roast are favored for a hearty winter meal. Served with potatoes and gravy, this cut can be especially delicious but has a downside of too many fat calories. Sometimes, when processing ground chuck, the butcher will blend a better grade of fat (if necessary) in with the meat. This fat comes from other "chuck type" cuts of meat such as rib-eye steaks. Ground chuck is great for a juicy burgers and mouth watering meatloaf.

Your third choice is ground round. The "round" area is actually the rear or rump of the cow. This is the area where a rump roast, round steaks and round roasts come from. This meat is high in flavor, very lean and also a tad bit chewy. Perfect for a slow cooked pot roast that won't accelerate your fat intake. Ground round is an ideal choice for tacos, lean meatloaf and sloppy joes. It also works well with most Hamburger Helpers since it requires little draining due to the lack of fat content.

Lastly, ground sirloin is approaching almost a cult-type status among the very health conscience who don't want to sacrifice on taste. Generally, a good sirloin cut of meat will have a marbling texture of fat throughout the meat that is completely different from the chunks found in a chuck. This gives an almost angelic blend of fat and flavor for burgers that will truly out of this world.

How much wood could a woodCHUCK, CHUCK:

Dear Cecil:
This question has gnawed at me since I was a young boy. It is a question posed every day by countless thousands around the globe and yet I have never heard even one remotely legitimate answer. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Cecil replies:
Are you kidding? Everybody knows a woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. Next you'll be wanting to know why she sells seashells by the seashore.

Like I didn't see this one coming

Dear Cecil:
Now that you mention it, why does she sell seashells by the seashore?
Cecil replies:
Because if, by way of alternative, she simply did seashell shucking whilst she sat, we'd all be in big trouble.

Poetry ain't good enough for him

Dear Cecil:
With regard to how much wood a woodchuck could chuck, etc., I am happy to say that science marches on, and the quaint but oh-so-unscientific answer you gave has been replaced with a modern one. See the enclosed article in the Wall Street Journal.
Cecil replies:
The article reports on the work of New York state wildlife expert Richard Thomas, who found that a woodchuck could (and does) chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. Thomas reasoned that if a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck an amount equivalent to the weight of the dirt, or 700 pounds. We are pleased to know this, of course. But it sure isn't easy to fit into a snappy verse.
